Reunite of DTMers!

was working night shift last night, reached home at about 11 plus, dragged a little here n there, dilly dally, get my stuff done.. by the time i settled down was already nearing 2am.. had to wake up @ 6am this morning for morning shift~

usually i wld be dragging myself outta bed but for today, just felt a lil happier knwing i'll be working and meeting all DTMers at petals! heh. cos of the vivocity event (for IMF volunteers, hosted by PM Lee Hsien Loong) , trainer swop over, all DTMers will take the morning and CHRO peeps to take the afternoon shift.. wooo.. its nice chatting and messing around with your own ppl ;P the sense of belonging is there i guess~ that familiarity this lingers in the air..

sadly, not many on my side are attending the event. opps. for myself, wasnt very interested cos not all peeps at my hotel (Oriental) are going and kinda disappointed its like buffet style and coupon redemption. i thought its gonna be some kinda banquet style ! whereby we can have a mini gathering with our mates. hope those who went did enjoy themselves! :)

and there... a group photo of us.. Candy wasn't with us today cos she woke up late and decided not to go! ahh, it could have been better ;p notice that Yvonne is there.. hahaha, she's back! yeah, with a stack of MCs, yeah one WHOLE STACK!

just to share with u guys this little happy moment we all share in Petals if we happen to be on nightshift!

buying cakes @$1 per slice.. haha! it gets extremely yummy after a whole day of work and looking at guests munching on them..

we have this very good Aunty Emily that is in-charged of the pastry counter (she's a student from Diploma in Pastry & Baking) , she sells us cakes even though at times she aren't allowed to.. maybe cos she much older like 40 plus 50? she treats us all like her own kids.. and we all click along damn well!

so sad she's been transferred back to Production Kitchen, not sure when she'll be coming back to Petals.. ahhh~ misses misses misses. with her around, its so much fun. everyone looks forward to working in Pantry =)

Aunty Emily! hope u're doing fine ok? see u sooon!
